7-Day Fermented Foods Challenge

Have you caught the buzz about the gut microbiome? The latest research shows that so many of our health problems ~ including chronic hormonal and blood sugar imbalances ~ have their roots in dysbiotic, or imbalanced, gut flora. Eating fermented foods on a regular basis helps to rebuild gut ecology, which results in increase immunity, improved digestion and nutrient assimilation, reduced inflammation, and a body weight that feels just right. Take the fermented foods challenge! For the next seven days, make and/or buy and/or eat fermented foods: sauerkraut, kimchee, yogurt, milk kefir, creme fraiche, beet kvass ~ the list goes on. Take a photo of what you're eating and post it here in this unit. Let us know how you feel. What's working? What feels challenging? We're here with you!
